Event Name: Tipsy Turtle 5K

Just before Super Bowl Sunday runners came out to Hollywood, Florida for the 3rd Annual Tipsy Turtle 5K! This isn't just any ordinary race—it was a chance to support the NSU Sea Turtle Conservation Program while enjoying the scenic beauty of Hollywood Beach and soaking up the February sun.

As runners hit the pavement, they had a refreshing breeze coming off the Atlantic Ocean, the salty scent of Hollywood Beach in the air, and a perfect 70-degree weather setting the stage for an incredible morning of running and walking.

But it's wasn't just about the picturesque backdrop; it's about making a tangible difference for our marine friends, the sea turtles. Runners who participated in the Tipsy Turtle 5K directly contributed to the preservation of their natural habitat and supported vital conservation efforts. Many of the runners stayed after the event to volunteer to clean up the beach.
